Perrott's Nursery

Bruce Perrott's Nursery is a nursery which has gradually evolved over time but which has always tried to maintain that down to earth suburban type nursery atmosphere. At the same time we have succeeded in maintaining a very high standard of customer/staff relations and in becoming the horticultural information base for the area. Our staff are either experienced, passionate, gardeners or trained and qualified horticulturalists and often both. Each has their own particular area of interest and so we have developed, and tend to specialise in, those areas. For example, as well as the usual broad range of trees and shrubs we specialise in herbs, roses, camellias and azaleas, rainforest and local natives, cottage garden plants and water plants and gardens just to name a few. Paths are planted with shade trees in planter boxes which double up as display gardens for annuals as well as seats. Many small display gardens have been created including a water garden, a rose garden, a mini-rain forest garden and many display beds of annuals and perennials. One of the many things that customers with children appreciate is our children's shaded play area and trolleys which are a big hit with the kids. All in all Bruce Perrott's Nursery could be best described as combining a mixture of the old and the new. All that is good about the old such as a down to earth domestic character which doesn't intimidate people has been retained and coupled with modern thinking and service. An up to date knowledge of products, plants and a strong environmental awareness is also a vital part of our approach to business which continues to focus on honest and trust-worthy service.
